I'm ◯◯ NO, 1


At Oka Foods, we are implementing an initiative called "inner branding" to enable our employees to become brands and communicate the value and appeal of their company.

As part of this initiative, we carried out a company-wide project called "I'm No. 1 in ○○!"

Each employee at our company has their own interests and strengths that can be of use to our stakeholders, and we aim to utilize these in our work to achieve self-centered altruism.

This time, we created a profile sheet for each employee, listing what they think they like and what they're good at, as well as what others think they like and what they're good at.

We aim to grow in the future by having employees learn about each other's great points and cooperate and collaborate to carry out more helpful activities and achieve results, and by knowing the good points that others see in themselves.

・Members of the inner branding penetration team were selected as "recommenders" (people who find the good points of the target person).

・Before the meeting, share the great points on Slack

・Set aside 30 minutes during business hours to discuss and decide on the "No. 1" candidate based on the information shared in advance.

・Each person will complete their own profile sheet based on the No. 1 they have decided on.

・The completed profile sheets will be sent to each employee's home, where they will be asked to discuss their work with their family or partner.

■I worked on creating No. 1. I'm grateful to everyone who praised me. I realized that it included things I'd never said to anyone before. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's finished work. Not only will it deepen my understanding, but I may be able to use strengths I didn't know about in my work. I want to actively utilize everyone's strengths.

■I feel a bit embarrassed about being No. 1 and wonder if it's really true, but the meetings as recommenders were a lot of fun, and I learned a lot from each of them because they all have amazing qualities. Everyone's No. 1 personalities were very attractive, and I had a feeling that when they all came together, they would create incredible power.

■Thank you for sharing your No. 1 rating with me. While I was happy, I also wondered why people would think that about me, even though I don't think that's the case. But it really gave me a lot of energy, and it made me think that maybe there's something I can do to help, so it was a really good idea.
