"Boneless fish" is a common term, but Oka Foods' products are labeled "boneless fish."
What's the difference? There's no difference between Okafoods' "boneless fish" and the commonly known "boneless fish" in that they are made by carefully removing bones one by one from bony fish. However, Okafoods has insisted on calling them "boneless fish" from the beginning. This is because, currently, most bone removal is done by hand, and there are no fish that are born boneless, like seedless grapes. In fact, all commonly available fish have bones, regardless of their size, species, or whether they are wild-caught or farmed. Currently, "boneless fish" and "boneless fish" are made by manually removing bones one by one from bony fish. However, human work inevitably leads to errors. Because most bone removal is done by hand, bones can be left behind, or broken bones can remain. Removing 100% of bones is therefore difficult. Nevertheless, Okafoods' partner factories continue to implement quality improvement activities with the goal of "zero bones remaining," and we are confident in our ability to produce products with minimal bones. The reason we insist on using "boneless fish" rather than "boneless fish" is so that our customers can use our products safely and with peace of mind, after understanding the fish's original shape and characteristics, processing methods, and Okafoods' efforts to achieve zero bones. The difference between "boneless" and "boneless"

How should I store the product?
Our products are frozen foods. To prevent freezer burn, drying, microbial contamination, and other product deterioration, we recommend storing them in a stable temperature environment at -18°C or below.
-
I have some leftover thawed fish, can I refreeze it and use it again?
Do not refreeze after thawing, as this may cause deterioration in quality. Once thawed, do not refreeze and refrain from using.
-
Can grilled fish products be heated in the microwave?
The "Tsukiji Grill-tei" series, as well as the "Funwari Tsukiji Grill-tei" and "Funwari Niza" series, are vacuum-packed and then heated, so they can be safely eaten after thawing naturally. They can also be heated in the microwave or in a hot water bath. If heating in the microwave, remove from the bag, transfer to a heat-resistant container, wrap in plastic wrap, and then heat.
