~Curry recipes on January 22nd!~
Curry is now considered a national dish.
When people start to get tired of traditional New Year's dishes, the deliciousness of New Year's curry may make some people realize that the new year has finally begun.
January 22nd is "Curry Day."
In 1982, the National Council of School Nutritionists commemorated the 35th anniversary of the founding of school lunches by serving curry rice as a lunch to 8 million children in elementary and junior high schools across the country. In commemoration of this, the All Japan Curry Industry Cooperative Association established the day as "Curry Day."
The ingredients in curry powder, such as turmeric, coriander, cumin, and pepper, are considered to be ingredients that warm the body in traditional Chinese medicine.
The cold weather is finally here, so we encourage everyone to try spicy curry to help them beat the cold and start the year in good health.
