◆Prevent dementia with Japanese food!
A study conducted by professors at Tohoku University, who followed a large number of Japanese people, revealed that people who eat Japanese food have a lower risk of dementia.
The results showed that people whose diet is far from Japanese food have a higher risk of dementia, while people who maintain a diet close to the Japanese food pattern have a lower risk of dementia.

The study used a Japanese food score (index) to give extra points for high intakes of rice, fish, green and yellow vegetables, miso soup, seaweed, pickles, and green tea, and deduct points for high intakes of beef or pork, resulting in a total score of 0 to 8 points, with a higher score being considered more typical of Japanese food.
◆DHA and EPA are essential for a healthy brain

It seems important to continue to eat one fish meal a day to improve your Japanese food score and create menus that take dementia prevention into consideration.
