Grilled saury ribbon pie with simmered pumpkin and bacon
Ingredients (for 1 person)
- Plus Pacific saury (bone removed) 60g/1 fish
- a little salt and pepper
- 20g frozen pie dough
- a little curry powder
- A little Druel
- *Druel (egg mixture for glaze on pie crust)
- 1 egg
- 10% of milk and eggs
- a little salt
- <Pumpkin stewed with bacon>
- [For 1 person]
- 60g pumpkin
- 10g bacon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- a little salt
- 1/5 teaspoon granulated consommé
- 30ml water
- <Side dish>
- Baby leaves, cherry tomatoes
Cooking in a frying pan
- 1. While the saury is still frozen, season it with salt and pepper.
- 2. Partially thaw the frozen pie dough and cut it into 18cm x 1.5cm ribbons.
- 3 Wrap the ribbon-shaped pie dough around the saury (step 1) three times.
- 4 Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- 5. Place a baking sheet on top of the oven tray and sprinkle curry powder over the entire surface using a tea strainer.
- 6. Arrange "3" on "5", spread Druel on top, and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
- 7. (Pumpkin stewed with bacon) Remove the seeds from the pumpkin and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
