Deep-fried Pacific saury with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce

Crispy deep-fried pacific saury served with a refreshing ponzu sauce and grated daikon radish. Since it is boneless, you can deep-fry it whole and eat it whole. It goes well with both rice and alcohol.

Ingredients (for 1 person)
- Plus Pacific saury (bone removed) 60g/1 fish
- 2g grated ginger
- 18ml soy sauce
- 18ml of sake
- Potato starch (as needed)
- salad oil (frying oil) appropriate amount
- 30g grated daikon radish
- 18ml ponzu sauce
- [Side dish]
- green onions
Cooking in a frying pan
- 1 Mix grated ginger, soy sauce, and sake.
- 2. Coat the frozen saury with (1) and sprinkle with potato starch.
- 3 Fry in hot salad oil.
- Arrange on 4 plates, add grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce, and sprinkle with green onions.
POINTApplication tips
- 1. You can also wrap saury in shiso leaves and fry it to change the flavor.
