Grilled Pacific saury with Chinese miso
Ingredients (for 1 person)
- Plus Pacific saury (bone removed) 60g/1 fish
- 5ml sesame oil
- 18g sweet noodle sauce
- 18ml mirin
- 5g bean paste
- [Side dish]
- Perilla
Steam convection cooking
- 1 Mix sweet bean sauce with mirin, sesame oil, and chili bean paste.
- 2. Coat the frozen saury in (1) and arrange it on a tray in a steam convection oven. Spread any remaining (1) on the arranged saury.
- 3 Heat in a preheated steam convection oven.
- 4. Place shiso leaves on a plate and top with (3).
POINTApplication tips
- 1. It has a sweet flavor and is boneless, making it easy for children to eat. If you don't have sweet bean paste, you can substitute it with a mixture of red miso and sukiyaki sauce in equal parts.
