Sanma rice
Ingredients (for 1 person)
- Plus Pacific saury (bone removed) 60g/1 fish
- a little salt
- 2 cups of rice
- 40g ginger
- 3 large leaves
- <Seasoning liquid A>
- 1 1/2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 tablespoon sake
- 300ml water
Cooking in a frying pan
- 1. Sprinkle salt on both sides of the Plus saury and leave for at least 20 minutes to season.
- 2. Cut the ginger and shiso leaves into thin strips.
- 3. Place the washed and drained rice in the rice cooker, add the ginger and seasoning A, mix, soak for 20 minutes, then cook.
- 4 Grill the saury (step 1) on both sides, then break it up and mix it into the cooked rice.
- 5. Serve in bowls and garnish with shiso leaves.
