Salmon Doria (October Halloween Food)

We'll flake the salmon and make a doria that mixes easily with rice. The thickening is achieved with potato starch, so it's quick and easy to make. We'll also sprinkle on pumpkin, a symbolic vegetable of Halloween.

Ingredients (for 1 person)

  • plus silver salmon fillet 60g 1/2 cut (30g)
  • 10g onion
  • 5g pumpkin
  • 2g butter
  • 5g frozen mixed vegetables
  • 30ml milk
  • Consomme granules 0.5g
  • <Potato starch dissolved in water>
  • 1g potato starch
  • 2ml water
  • 80g rice
  • 5g pizza cheese

How to make it

  • 1 Boil the salmon and flake it.
  • 2 Finely chop the onion.
  • 3 Cut the pumpkin into 5mm cubes, boil it and drain the water.
  • 4. Heat the butter in a pot and fry [2] over low heat, being careful not to burn it.
  • 5 Add [1], mixed vegetables, milk, and consommé to [4], bring to a boil, and then thicken with the water-dissolved potato starch.
  • 6. Place the rice in a heat-resistant container, pour [5] over it, and sprinkle with pizza cheese.
  • 7 Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted, then sprinkle with the pumpkin from [3].
