Mackerel with green onion and miso sauce
Ingredients (for 1 person)
- Plus mackerel fillet 60g 1 slice
- 3g green onion
- 1 teaspoon of miso (6g)
- 1 teaspoon (6g) mirin
- 1/2 teaspoon (1.5g) sugar
Cooking in a frying pan
- 1. Grill the mackerel while it is still frozen and arrange it on a plate.
- 2. Finely chop the green onions. (Adding a little green part will add color.)
- 3. Put the chopped green onions, miso, mirin, and sugar into a bowl, mix well, and pour over the grilled mackerel from step 1.
Steam convection cooking
- 1 Bake in a preheated convection oven on combi mode/30% steam/220-230°C for 9-10 minutes until lightly browned.
- 2. Finely chop the green onions. (Adding a little green part will add color.)
- 3. Put the chopped green onions, miso, mirin, and sugar into a bowl, mix well, and pour over the grilled mackerel from step 1.
- * Preheat the steamer to a temperature 20 to 30°C higher.
- * The temperature and cooking time vary depending on the model, so please check the core temperature before cooking.
