Ingredients (for 1 person)

  • Plus mackerel fillet 60g 1 slice
  • 3g green onion
  • 1 teaspoon of miso (6g)
  • 1 teaspoon (6g) mirin
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1.5g) sugar

Cooking in a frying pan

  • 1. Grill the mackerel while it is still frozen and arrange it on a plate.
  • 2. Finely chop the green onions. (Adding a little green part will add color.)
  • 3. Put the chopped green onions, miso, mirin, and sugar into a bowl, mix well, and pour over the grilled mackerel from step 1.

Steam convection cooking

  • 1 Bake in a preheated convection oven on combi mode/30% steam/220-230°C for 9-10 minutes until lightly browned.
  • 2. Finely chop the green onions. (Adding a little green part will add color.)
  • 3. Put the chopped green onions, miso, mirin, and sugar into a bowl, mix well, and pour over the grilled mackerel from step 1.
  • * Preheat the steamer to a temperature 20 to 30°C higher.
  • * The temperature and cooking time vary depending on the model, so please check the core temperature before cooking.
