Atka mackerel rice
Ingredients (for 1 person)
- Plus Atka mackerel fillet 60g
- 0.3g salt
- 130g rice
- 3g pickled ginger
- 1/2 shiso leaf
- 0.5g white sesame seeds
Cooking in a frying pan
- 1. Sprinkle salt on the Atka mackerel and grill it on a fish grill for 7 to 8 minutes.
- 2. Thinly slice the sweet and sour pickled ginger and shiso leaves. Shred the grilled Atka mackerel.
- 3 Mix shredded Atka mackerel, sweet and sour pickled ginger, shiso leaves, and ground white sesame seeds into the rice.
- 4 *If you are lacking in protein, such as when your main dish is a simmered dish, why not add a protein source to your rice?
Steam convection cooking
- 1. Sprinkle salt on the Atka mackerel.
- 2 Bake in a preheated steam convection oven at 220-230°C with 30% steam for 8-9 minutes, checking carefully.
- 3. Thinly slice the sweet and sour pickled ginger and shiso leaves. Shred the grilled Atka mackerel.
- 4 Mix the shredded Atka mackerel, sweet and sour pickled ginger, shiso leaves, and ground white sesame seeds into the rice.
