Grilled silver cod with spices
Ingredients (for 1 person)
- Plus Silver Cod (bone removed) 60g 1 piece
- 0.8g kelp tea
- 4g green onions
- 2.5g myoga
- 0.3g salt
- 1g sesame oil
- <Side dish>
- Kinpira lotus root, shiso
Cooking in a frying pan
- 1. Sprinkle kelp tea over the silver cod.
- 2 Finely chop the green onions and chop the myoga ginger, then mix with salt and sesame oil.
- 3. Place the silver cod on a fish grill and grill for 6 to 7 minutes, then pour over 2 and grill for a further 30 seconds to 1 minute, checking the condition while cooking.
Steam convection cooking
- 1. Sprinkle kelp tea over the silver cod.
- 2 Finely chop the green onions and chop the myoga ginger, then mix with salt and sesame oil.
- 3. Place the silver cod in a preheated steamer.
- 4 Bake in an oven at 220-230°C with 30% steam for 8-9 minutes, checking carefully.
- 5 Pour 2 over the silver cod and continue cooking for 30 seconds to 1 minute, checking the condition while cooking.
- 6 *You can also use 0.4g of salt per slice instead of kelp tea.
- 7 *The flavor of sesame oil makes it delicious even with less salt.
- 8 *In addition to green onions and myoga ginger, you can also use other vegetables that can be used as condiments, such as green onions or shiso leaves sprinkled on top after grilling.
