Grilled Horse Mackerel with Green Onion and Miso

Ingredients (for 1 person)

  • Plus Horse Mackerel Fillet 60g 1 piece
  • 2g (1/2 teaspoon) salad oil
  • 5g green onion (chopped)
  • <Seasonings>
  • 9g miso (1/2 tablespoon)
  • 4g sugar (just over 1 teaspoon)
  • 3g sake (just over 1/2 teaspoon)
  • [Side dish] Deep-fried eggplant and green peppers

Cooking in a frying pan

  • 1. Put the green onions and seasonings in a bowl and mix well.
  • 2 Add salad oil to a frying pan and cook the horse mackerel on a medium heat, turning it over once it is browned, then cover and cook on a low to medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • 3. Spread the green onion miso from [1] on [2] and bake for another 3 minutes.
